The pebble and sandy beach, that bears the same name, has been rewarded with “The Blue Flag of Europe”. The region offers many clear sandy beaches. The region’s specialty is barbecued octopus accompanied of course with the classic beverage of Greece, ouzo. Moor in Simos beach at the small island of Elafonisos and see for yourself all the fabulous pictures that fill the touristic guides. 13 miles northern of Neapoli is located the settlement of Plytra and Archaggelos.
